Background

Prof. Huang has spearheaded over 30 national research initiatives, including key programs funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and major national projects in new drug development. His prolific output from this work includes over 200 peer-reviewed publications (with more than 80 indexed in SCI/EI) and over 10 authorized patents. His significant academic impact is widely recognized: he is featured in rankings that place him among the world's top scientists (e.g., appearing in Elsevier's Global Top 100,000 Scientists list) and is a recurrent honoree on the Elsevier Highly Cited Chinese Researchers list. In education, Prof. Huang served as chief editor for 10 medical textbooks. His textbook, "Imaging Nuclear Medicine" received the Shanghai Outstanding Textbook Award, and his "Nuclear Medicine" course was designated a Shanghai Municipal Elite Program. As a principal investigator, his research achievements have earned numerous prestigious awards: 1、Second Prize, National Education Commission Science & Technology Progress Award (1996);2、Ministry of Health Science & Technology Progress Awards: Third Prize (1997), Second Prize (1998);3、Shanghai Science & Technology Progress Awards: Third Prize (2000, 2002), Second Prize (2004);4、Shanghai Medical Science & Technology Award: First Prize (2007) and awarded again in 2009;5、China Medical Science Award (2009).
