Aging has emerged as a critical global health challenge. Asia, particularly East Asia, is experiencing the most rapid population aging worldwide. China’s demographic shift-with the largest aging population and fastest aging rate-has compressed Europe’s century-long aging process into merely 30 years.
Age-related diseases, including 92 chronic conditions such as cancer, cardiovascular disorders, Alzheimer's Disease, and diabetes, account for 51.3%-56% of the global disease burden. The misconception that aging-related health deterioration is “inevitable” must be rectified. Our new strategic goal is achieving “Healthy Aging”-enabling individuals to grow old without disease.
From Bench to Bedside: We bridge biomedical research, clinical trials, and industrial applications to develop novel therapies addressing aging challenges.
Our team is an interdisciplinary collective of basic medical scientists, biologists, clinical practitioners, public health & epidemiology specialists, psychologists & behavioral scientists, microelectronics biosensor engineers, and artificial intelligence & algorithm developers. This diverse expertise enables integrated solutions for cutting-edge aging research and translational breakthroughs.
