Accelerated aging, particularly severe in East Asia and exemplified by China compressing a century of European demographic aging into just 30 years, presents a critical global health challenge.
Age-related diseases (including cancer, cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer's disease, and diabetes), constituting 51.3-56% of the total disease burden, have long been erroneously viewed as inevitable consequences of aging. Our aim is to shift this paradigm to achieve “Healthy Aging” through aging without illness.
From Bench to Bedside: We bridge biomedical research, clinical trials, and industrial applications to develop novel therapies addressing aging challenges.
Our team is an interdisciplinary collective of basic medical scientists, biologists, clinical practitioners, public health & epidemiology specialists, psychologists & behavioral scientists, microelectronics biosensor engineers, and artificial intelligence & algorithm developers.
